My Great-Great-Great-Great Grandfather William Hezekiah Miles immigrated to America from Ireland sometime around 1800 and married Keziah Taylor.

Hezekiah Miles and wife, Keziah, had two sons, John and William Manning Miles, and a daughter Rebecca who married Nelson Jordan. From research at the South Carolina archives I found evidence that Hezekiah and Keziah are buried near Black Creek in Mt. Croghan, Chesterfield Co, SC. All of Hezekiah and Keziah's children were born in Mount Croghan South Carolina.

The will of Heziakah's son John Miles (born 1810) listed his two children as Lavinia Miles and Edward "Jackson" Miles. Hezekiah left each child 250 acres.       Jackson Miles married his first cousin, Elizabeth Jane Miles (daughter of William Manning Miles), and Elizabeth's mother Nancy Maranda Jordan Miles left to Elizabeth 350 acres of the William Manning Miles estate.

Jackson Miles ended up with over 500 acres from the original estates of William Manning Miles and John Miles--sons of Hezekiah Miles.

Hezekiah & Keziah Miles' first child William Manning Miles was born in 1808 near Mt. Crogan so Hezekiah had to have immigrated to America from Ireland probably between 1800 and 1808.
